The location was perfect, providing a secluded getaway while still being close to charming towns like Coniston, Windermere, and Hawkshead. the comfortable sitting area in the cottage was my favorite spot to relax and plan out my daily adventures, with plenty of books and leaflets at my disposal. the hosts, Gay and Graham, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable - even surprising me with freshly baked scones. the food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of tasty options to choose from. Overall, my experience at this hotel was truly exceptional, providing a perfect blend of tranquility, comfort, and exceptional hospitality. I cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay in the Lake District.
